Looking to drive with a trailer?
When you hold a C1 licence, you are then entitled to progress to C1+E. The trailer offers a wider scope for the candidate
to gain employment or enables an existing driver to upgrade. Ground maintenance, building contractors, tree surgeons and highway maintenance are all examples of the requirement for a C1+E licence. We use Ifor Williams and Indespension box trailers for C1+E training, the combination of quality vehicles and trailers alongside professional tuition always puts our candidates in the best postiton of the all important first time pass.
Category C Training
At Top Gear, we make gaining your category C licence easy. As well as being professionally trained by approved instructors, you will be guided through the whole process by our award winning customer care team.
We are proud to announce the arrival of 3 new LF DAF vehicles to our fleet which are fully automatic. We now offer both manual and automatic category C courses. If you have passed a manual car test, you can then take your category C test in one of our new automatics and still achieve a manual licence. Why not speak to our customer care team today?
Your licence application must be supported by a medical examination which is compulsory. This process will be organised by our customer care team. When you are ready to leave our office on the date of your medical, all of your paperwork will have been completed by our staff. The only thing for you to do, will be to pop the envelope into the post!
In a short time, your new provisional licence will return. At which point you will need to call our customer care team, when you will be invited to enjoy a free of charge driver assessment at a date and time of your choice. Your assessment will take approximately 30 minutes of on road driving after which our instructor will advise you of the training time that you will require to reach a test standard.
Our customer care team will then make your theory and hazard perception bookings with dates and times chosen by the candidate.
